MyMedicalCert provides pharmacist-issued absence-from-work certificates for eligible sick leave and carer's leave requests. A pharmacist assesses each request and issues a certificate only if appropriate. Our current service covers one day: today.

Anyone 18 years or older, residing and working in Australia, can request a medical certificate.

The assessment fee is $12.99 AUD for either sick leave or carer's leave. Payment does not guarantee that a certificate will be issued. See our pricing and service terms.

Choose a sick leave certificate for your own absence or a carer's leave certificate when caring for a family or household member. We currently offer one-day certificates for today only, not backdated, future-dated or multi-day certificates.

Choose sick leave or carer's leave, complete the online application, and follow the payment instructions. A registered pharmacist then assesses your request. If approved, your certificate is sent by email.

If approved, your certificate is emailed to you, usually the same day. Review times can vary and delivery is not guaranteed within an hour. You can submit a request at any time. Check your spam folder or contact support if you need help.

Certificates are typically issued for 1 day. Multi-day certificates are at the pharmacist’s discretion.

Yes, pharmacists are authorized to issue medical certificates under the Fair Work Act 2009. However, some employers may require certificates from a doctor, so please verify your workplace requirements.

Absolutely. All personal and medical information is encrypted and stored securely, compliant with Australian privacy laws.

No, backdated certificates cannot be issued for legal and ethical reasons.
